Test Your Print Settings

Now your set up and ready, download and open the ‘Test PDF. Print this from Adobe Reader.

The 'Test PDF' includes a 5cm x 5cm test square for you to measure, to ensure that you’re printing at the right scale before printing off your entire pattern. Make sure the test square on your print off measures 5cm x 5cm.

Doing this step means you won't wasted a lot of paper and should it not measure 5cm x 5cm you just simply adjust printer settings and re-try.

Whilst testing the print settings, it may also be worth checking your printer is not set to double-sided/duplex printing, as all pages need to printed individually, in order that they can be stuck together later.
